11.03.2022 – ERA DIMËN is a publication addressing air quality issues in Kosovo through a series of topics on air pollution, combined with personal narratives, professional analyses, art and activism, with the aim of inspiring environmental change in Kosovo.
The publication offers a different approach to understanding the importance of air quality, providing examples at both local and national levels. It also highlights the role of academia in air quality issues, as well as the role of civil society in advocating for environmental change by using data to support civic action.
The images and stories presented in this publication illustrate aspects of our everyday lives that are subject to unwanted changes due to the degradation of air quality, the importance of air quality for individual and social progress, and how today’s concerns, questions, behaviours and actions need to change in order to ensure a cleaner environment tomorrow.
The ERA DIMËN publication is part of the Air Quality activities under the Transparency and Accountability Program, implemented by Millennium Foundation Kosovo and supported by the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).
The book also presents a report on the activities carried out by Millennium Foundation Kosovo with the support of the Millennium Challenge Corporation and local stakeholders in the field of air quality.
