A delegation from the Kosovo Institute for Nature Protection, led by Director Fadil Bajraktari, visited today the Regional Administration of Protected Areas for the Kukës Region, where they were welcomed by representatives of the Administration.
The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen cross-border cooperation between Kosovo and Albania in the field of nature protection, exchange information between the two administrations within the framework of sustainable cross-border management of these areas, and discuss other opportunities for cooperation in monitoring wild fauna and flora.
This activity was carried out within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning of Kosovo and the Ministry of Tourism and Environment of Albania, signed in 2017.
