The Hydrometeorological Institute of Kosovo has prepared a bulletin entitled “Current Hydrometeorological Situation and Trends for the Summer Months of 2023”.
The bulletin provides detailed information on the status of the main climate indicators for the period January–May 2023, as well as the forecast for the summer period (June–August 2023).
The current situation is presented based on measurements carried out at 11 Automatic Meteorological Stations, while the forecast was prepared using data from products provided by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), Met Office, Météo-France, DWD, and the SPI Model.
The forecasts regarding temperatures indicate that during the summer, maximum temperatures will reach up to 30 degrees Celsius.
