During these two days, most rivers in Kosovo caused flooding, with some rivers overflowing their banks in certain sections and causing floods of a magnitude corresponding to a 50-year return period.
Currently, most rivers in the country are showing a slight decrease in water levels, except for the White Drin River in its lower reaches, the Sitnica River, the Morava e Binçës River, and the Lepenc River, which are showing a slight rise.
During these days, an average of 97.1 mm (l/m²) of precipitation was recorded across the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.

Clarification:
- The preparation of this exceptional hydrometeorological information is based on professional and certified forecasting products from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), ICON–KS, the German Meteorological Service (DWD), the European Flood Awareness System (Copernicus EFAS), the PANTA RHEI flood forecasting model, as well as data from the national network of hydrometeorological stations.
- The absence of some data from certain stations is a result of severe meteorological conditions, interruptions in data transmission via GPRS, and temporary system difficulties. These floods damaged some of the automatic stations within the hydrometric network.
