All interested parties are hereby informed that, as of today (19 August 2026), the public consultation on the document “Professional Justifications for the Declaration of 12 Protected Areas in the Territory of the Municipality of Prizren” will begin.
These documents will be subject to public consultation from 19 August 2026 to 19 September 2026, as required by Point 5 of Article 20 of Law No. 03/L-233 on Nature Protection.
Comments and suggestions may be submitted by 19 September 2026, at 16:00, to the following email address: shkurte.selimi@rks-gov.net.

The proposed natural heritage areas for protection mainly include natural monuments of botanical character, natural monuments of geomorphological and speleological character, natural monuments of hydrological character, as well as natural landscapes with special natural values.
Placing natural heritage values under protection enables their more effective protection and management through institutional care and the implementation of appropriate measures.
