The annual report on the state of the air 2023 contains air quality data collected from 12 stationary stations and one mobile station throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo for the calendar year 2023.
The report also provides a summary of air emissions data, investments in the air sector, legal infrastructure, and recommendations for improving the situation.
The air quality parameters assessed by the Environmental Status Assessment Sector are: Carbon Monoxide (CO), Ozone (O3), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), and particulate matter with a diameter smaller than 10 and 2.5 microns, respectively PM10 & PM2.5.
Data on air discharges include estimates for air emissions of NOx, SO2, and Total Dust from economic operators: TCA and TCB, New Co Feronikel, and Sharr Cem.
