AMMK, specifically the Directorate for the Administration of the Sharr National Park, is continuously facing numerous problems related to illegal activities within the park's territory.
Recently, cases of illegal actions by motorcyclists and cars for off-roading have increased, illegally exploiting the terrain of the Sharr National Park for movement and various races on public and private properties.
These actions are causing direct interference in the destruction of natural landscapes, environmental pollution, generation of waste, and are negatively affecting the disturbance of wild animals living in these areas with high biodiversity values.
Despite continuous efforts and warnings to prevent these illegal activities through informative letters, requests sent to the Kosovo Police to stop these activities, criminal complaints, remarks, etc., until today, the actions of the AMMK, respectively the staff of DAPK 'Sharri', have not been taken into account.
Therefore, in the coming weeks and months, with the aim of preventing these illegal activities, efforts will be intensified in cooperation with the relevant institutions, and action will be taken through the implementation of additional measures within which fines will be imposed on the perpetrators of these actions based on the current legislation, motor vehicles will be confiscated, and criminal complaints will be filed for legal violations.
Therefore, AMMK, specifically the Directorate for the Administration of the 'Sharri' National Park, warns all those who are carrying out these actions to withdraw from these illegal activities, because otherwise they will face the appropriate legal measures.
