31 January 2025 AMMK informs all interested parties that the application for the 2025 EU Environmental Academy is open, and applications will be accepted until 19 February 2025 at 12:00. The EU Environmental Academy covers the topic of EU membership and the integration of the EU acquis in the field of environment and climate change (Chapter 27) and is an opportunity offered within the framework of AMMK's cooperation project with the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency. Partners in organizing the academy include the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) in Maastricht/Luxembourg, while the host of the academy this year is Montenegro.
The program is designed to provide selected participants with in-depth knowledge and practical skills applicable to the EU accession process, specifically in the environmental chapter of the EU Acquis. The knowledge and skills acquired will serve participants in their current or future roles at the national, regional, or local level of public administration, or in environmental NGOs, as well as in international organizations.
Professionals from Kosovo with good knowledge of the English language, who are actively working in the environmental sector, including government agencies, public institutions, or other relevant organizations such as environmental NGOs, are invited to apply.
It is worth noting that the Academy is a very demanding program, consisting of approximately 290 hours of online work throughout the academic year; therefore, participation in the Academy requires dedication and motivation.
