The Kosovo Environmental Protection Agency and the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency held the first launch meeting for the second phase of cooperation in the project "Capacity Building for Nature Protection and Use of Environmental Data" funded by the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA).
The project is organized into three main components: Environmental Data Management, National Park Management, and Preparation for "Natura 2000" and will be implemented during the period 2025 – 2027.
This project is the second consecutive cooperation following the project Building Environmental Capacities on the Use of Data in Kosovo 2021-2024.
Participants in the meeting where the objectives, activities, and implementation modalities of the project were discussed included representatives from the Kosovo Environmental Protection Agency, the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, and the Embassy of Sweden in Kosovo.
