Organized by Save the Children Kosovo and supported by the Swedish Embassy in Kosovo, the Inclusive Summer School is being held in Brezovica, in the 'Sharri' National Park.

This activity, which is being organized in cooperation with the Kosovo Environmental Protection Agency (KEPA) and the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA), as part of the second phase of cooperation with these organizations, aims at "improving the well-being of children and young people with disabilities through social inclusion."

At the opening ceremony of the school, the Deputy Ambassador of the Swedish Embassy in Kosovo, Henrik Riby, the Acting Executive Director of KEPA, Afrim Berisha, and the Executive Director of Save the Children Kosovo, Ahmet Kryeziu, were also present.

In his speech, the Acting Executive Director of AMMK stated that “AMMK values and considers as extremely important the commitment of Save the Children to involve children, and specifically those with special needs, in the decision-making process and in their education about the environment and nature.”

Part of the school's activity agenda, besides the Save the Children activists, were also Uta Ibrahimi from Utalaya Foundation and Hasim Kryeziu from DAPK Sharri, who shared their experiences on nature protection and sustainable management of National Parks and the role of youth.
