Within the framework of the cooperation project between the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and the Kosovo Environmental Protection Agency – Capacity Building for Nature Protection and Use of Environmental Data, a workshop was held on the Symbol and Official Website of the National Parks of Kosovo.
The purpose of the workshop was to initiate the process of creating an official symbol and online platform for the National Parks of Kosovo, to gather views, ideas, and suggestions from participants regarding the process, to define the core values of the National Parks that will shape the visual identity and website content, as well as to determine the next steps for selecting the required methods and design capacities needed for implementing the results.
At the meeting, the Swedish experience regarding the design of the logo and the website of national parks was presented and discussed, including the goals, user analysis, the current redesign process, and user profile. Also, the process of preparing the symbol and the website of the National Parks of Kosovo, the content of the symbol and the website, user perspective, communication methods, and other important elements for this process were discussed.
During the discussions, it was proposed that the symbol and website, in addition to the natural elements characteristic of our parks, should also include elements from our cultural and historical heritage, educational elements, and interactivity.
Participants in the workshop included representatives from the Kosovo Environmental Protection Agency (KEPA), the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency (SwEPA), the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure (MMPHI), Save the Children, and other interested parties.
The cooperation project between the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and the Kosovo Environmental Protection Agency is supported by the Swedish Embassy in Kosovo through the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA).
