Representatives from the stakeholders participating in the Drin River Basin program (phase II), including representatives from the Environmental Protection Agency and the Institute for Nature Protection, participated in the training aimed at acquiring the necessary tools for implementing the Social and Environmental Standards of the United Nations Development Program - UNDP throughout the project cycle.
The training brought several main objectives for the participants:
Such training ensures that projects implemented under the Drin program not only have an impact but are also socially and environmentally responsible.
The second phase of the Drin cooperation program is supported by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and implemented by the Global Water Partnership.
