04.02.2011- The Environmental Bulletin has now become a new window of information for the environment. The Kosovo Environmental Protection Agency, in cooperation with UNDP, has published the second issue of this bulletin.
While in its first issue more attention was given to the activities of students, schools, and villages for environmental protection, this time the bulletin has focused on the use of renewable resources in energy production and their importance in environmental protection and sustainable development. The pages of the bulletin also contain information on global, regional, and national efforts for environmental protection in various forms and ways undertaken by institutions, civil society, and the artist community. The window of information summarized with important environmental facts, environmental protection tips, and the calendar of environmental events are also part of the information that completes this issue.
The impressions and positive reactions from readers regarding the first issue of the Bulletin are an additional motivation that encourages us to continue with even greater dedication in publishing this bulletin, which will be in the hands of the reader every three months. Hoping that we are on the right path to achieving our goal of raising the level of quality environmental awareness, we thank all those who contributed to enriching the bulletin with interesting and public-interest topics. At the same time, we reiterate our request for collaboration and encourage all interested individuals and organizations to send us information about their activities.
