17 October 2011

17.10.2011 - The fruitful cooperation between the Kosovo Environmental Protection Agency and UNDP has brought to readers and enthusiasts of environmental information the fourth issue of the Environmental Bulletin.

The variety of topics and the activities of different groups for environmental protection characterize this issue of the bulletin. This time, the focus has been on schools, children, and educational and awareness-raising activities for environmental protection. The activities of municipalities in increasing green areas and the support of environmental initiatives by the athletes' community to improve the environmental situation are also part of the bulletin.

There is no shortage of information about the contributions of donors to help improve the environmental situation in Kosovo. From the region, you can read about an activity aimed at promoting inter-regional efforts for environmental protection, while from the world there is information about the concern of research institutions regarding the increase in carbon dioxide emissions at the global level.

This time as well, there are tips for actions that can be taken to help protect the environment, while summarized information and the most important events from the environmental calendar will continue to be a permanent part of our bulletin.
