In 2012, there are over 100 countries that will organize their cleanup day. Also, this is the first time in Kosovo, as well as in other surrounding countries, that civil society, institutions, schools, students, and the media come together for a common cause. I call it a cause because we truly have the situation that we have in the environment and the contribution of everyone is needed, he said. He added that this is an initiative, which of course also has its political side, because through this action, Kosovo is expected to join Europe and the world.
According to the organizers of this initiative, various Ministers of the country are expected to participate in this action, including the Ministry for the Kosovo Security Force (MFSK), which will assist with logistical means for the transportation of waste. Additionally, the organizers say that they will very soon work on the plan regarding where urgent interventions will be carried out for the removal of waste.
