20/03/2013- With the aim of improving information about its work and activities and with the goal of raising the quality of environmental information for the general public, the Kosovo Environmental Protection Agency, during this week, has started presenting its activities also on the social networks Facebook and Twitter.
This initiative of the KEPA is prompted based on the fact that information through social networks has become a very effective instrument for distributing information to different social groups, especially to younger generations. Also, based on data showing that the population of Kosovo has internet access of about 65%, KEPA considers that using the internet for informing and raising public awareness about environmental protection is a very good and effective opportunity.
Hoping that this initiative of ours will be an additional boost in achieving the goal of raising the level of quality information about the environment, we thank all those who have used our information on official websites, and we invite them to now follow us also on the AMMK profiles on Facebook and Twitter. We hope that with the launch of these two profiles we will create an even greater opportunity to provide updated information about the state of the environment and to reflect our efforts and commitments to improving environmental quality in Kosovo.
