21/05/2013 - The Minister of the MMPH, Dardan Gashi, has signed the Administrative Instruction on the Nature Protection Sign of Kosovo. This Administrative Instruction determines the appearance of the sign for nature protection, the procedures and conditions for carrying and using it, the manner of issuing the permit for carrying the sign, as well as the method of keeping records of the issued permits. The purpose of issuing the nature protection sign is to promote nature protection and identify the official person in the procedure of supervision and taking measures for nature protection.

This sign will be carried by inspectors and other officials during the performance of supervision and enforcement tasks for nature protection measures. The sign is also carried by employees of the directorates for the management of protected areas when they perform professional work in nature protection, as well as other officials of the Ministry of Environment, Forests, and Water (MMPH) assigned by the minister. With the Ministry's permission, the sign may also be carried by other natural and legal persons during activities for the promotion of nature protection. The sign may be used to promote nature protection in written materials and electronic data with the Ministry's permission, but it may not be used for commercial purposes without the Ministry's consent. The sign for commercial purposes may only be used by the directorates that manage protected areas and other protected natural values.
