SAVE WATER, WATER IS LIFE!

The use of water in everyday life?

Each person uses on average 160 liters of water every day.

For doing household maintenance tasks, on average 3500 liters of water are used per week.

The largest amount of water used is that which goes to the toilet in our house.

WE use:

2 liters of water each time we fill a kettle.

25 liters of water each time we take a shower.

60 liters of water each time we run the washing machine.

5 liters of water to wash dishes at home.

10 liters of water each time we press the toilet flush button.

Do you know how much water a dripping faucet wastes when no one pays attention?

It wastes approximately 283-387 liters of water per week!

What can each of us do to stop wasting water?

Do not allow water to flow uselessly from the faucet.

Do not use drinking water to wash cars.

Do not consume more water than our needs.

Do not use drinking water for the many constructions in our city.

Do not clean the sidewalks with drinking water.

Do not forget to turn off the taps when brushing teeth.

Do not water the flowers every day.

Pay regularly for the water we consume.

Do not allow unauthorized interventions in the water network.

We are all users of water, therefore we are also responsible for using it properly, without wasting it...
