24/09/2014 - On the 25th and 26th of September in Pristina, the 23rd consecutive meeting of the European Environment Agency Heads Network, known as the EPA Network, will be held.
Some of the key topics that will be discussed at the meeting are: EU environmental legislation and policies, cooperation at the level of Western Balkan countries, the fulfillment of objectives and implementation of EPA Network activities as well as the planned priorities for the upcoming period.
The opening ceremony of the meeting will also be attended by the Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning, Mr. Dardan Gashi, and the special representative of the European Union office in Kosovo, Mr. Samuel Bogar.
At the conclusion of the opening part of the meeting, a press conference will also be organized. The press conference will be held at the Swiss Diamond Hotel in Pristina, around 11:00 am.
Otherwise, the Network of Heads of European Environment Agencies, known as the EPA Network, brings together all the leaders or directors of National Environment Protection Agencies or similar institutions of European countries. AMMK has been a member of this informal network since 2011, and currently the CEO of AMMK, Mr. Ilir Morina, is in the network's leadership troika.
