The CEO of AMMK is participating in the 24th meeting of the EPA Network

23.04.2015 - The CEO of AMMK Dr. Ilir Morina is participating in the 24th meeting of the EPA Network (Network of Heads of Environmental Agencies of Europe), held in Riga, Latvia.
At the meeting, in addition to the network's activities and future plans, discussions are taking place on the implementation of new environmental policies, cooperation with the European Commission and other relevant European environmental institutions, the application of best practices in the green economy of Europe, the European framework program for research and innovation Horizon 2020 and the possibility of its application in the environmental sector, the promotion of sustainable resource use concepts, and integrated environmental programs in the licensing and permitting process.
The CEO of AMMK, Dr. Ilir Morina, apart from participating, holding meetings with various representatives of European Environmental Agencies, and discussing cooperation opportunities, also led the 3rd session of this meeting on the topic of Environmental Policies, Global and European Developments.
An important part of the meeting was also the session of presentations and reporting by the Stakeholder Groups within the Epa Network, where, among other things, in the Stakeholder Group for the Western Balkans, the draft work plan of this group was discussed, which at the meeting held in Pristina was initiated by the Kosovo Environmental Protection Agency.
The meeting will conclude tomorrow, where, in addition to recommendations, there will also be a summary of the activities planned to be carried out this year by the Epa Network.
Among other things, during the meeting, gratitude and thanks were once again expressed for the excellent organization of the 23rd EPA Network meeting, which last year was held in Pristina under the organization of the Kosovo Environmental Protection Agency.
