12.08.2015- In order to inform the public about air quality in Kosovo, the Kosovo Environmental Protection Agency, specifically the Hydrometeorological Institute, continues the monthly reporting on air quality.
Reports for the months of April, May, and June complete the monthly reports for the first half of 2015. The reports are based on data collected from automatic stations of the air quality monitoring network, which are located in 12 different localities in Kosovo.
The analysis provides data for 6 parameters: Carbon Monoxide, Sulfur Dioxide, Nitrogen Dioxide, Ozone, PM 10 particles, and PM 2.5 particles.
As the reports for the monitoring stations that were in operation during this time also show, exceedances of the monthly average values (April, May, June) were recorded only for the PM10 parameter (Suspended Particles), at the stations in Prishtina, Palaj (Obiliq), and Gjilan.
