19.02.2015 - Gadime Cave remains one of the most visited tourist destinations for visitors not only from within the country but also from abroad. Due to its values, this natural monument has been legally protected and enjoys the status of a Natural Monument of Special Importance. Currently, the cave is managed by the Kosovo Environmental Protection Agency. The cave is located in the village of Lower Gadime, in the Municipality of Lipjan, 3 km away from the main road Pristina-Ferizaj-Skopje.
The treasures of the cave that make it special are the presence of aragonites, which as cave ornaments are rare phenomena. Aragonites and other crystals in the Gadime Cave appear in several galleries, which can also be seen by visitors, given that Gadime Cave is currently the only cave in Kosovo prepared for tourists.
Responding to the ongoing interest of visitors, for information regarding the visiting hours and the exact location of the cave, AMMK has prepared a summary of general information for Gadime Cave.
