17.03.2016 - This year as well, Kosovo is participating in the Tourism Fair Natural Destinations in Paris (17–20 March). Kosovo's participation and presentation at this fair is the result of support and co-financing from the Embassy of France in Kosovo, in partnership with USAID (Private Sector Empowerment Project), the Environmental Protection Agency (AMMK), and the Kosovo Investment and Enterprise Support Agency (KIESA). This is the third year that Kosovo is presented at this fair, an initiative that was first launched and organized in 2012 by AMMK.
During this edition, from today until 20 March, five tourist operators from Kosovo will present excursions and hiking trails to the French public. This year’s edition will be an opportunity to promote the extension in Kosovo of the regional hiking trail network known as Via Dinarica.
The Nature Destinations Fair is one of the most important fairs in the field of mountain tourism and outdoor activities in Europe, therefore participation in this event is of special importance for Kosovo. The presentation of Kosovo's natural beauties, cultural diversity, and other values that our country carries, apart from its tourist significance, is a good opportunity for promoting and enhancing the country's image in Europe and beyond.
