Based on measurements conducted by the Hydrometeorological Institute of Kosovo, and from the analysis of results obtained from the automatic air quality monitoring by the measuring stations in Prishtina, in the last two days, exceedances of the daily limit values for PM10 have also been recorded.
The daily limit value set for the protection of human health is 50 µg/m3, while during these four days, the maximum daily value was recorded on 06.12.2016 and reached 106.14 µg/m3.
High concentrations were also recorded for the PM2.5 pollutant, for which, at the stations in Prishtina on the same days and times, maximum values of 94.16 µg/m3 were registered.
