27.01.2017 - Based on measurements carried out by the Hydrometeorological Institute of Kosovo and from the analysis of the results obtained from automatic air quality monitoring, it is noted that in recent days there have been no exceedances of the daily limit values for PM10. The daily average value on 25.01.2017 was 24.0 µg/m3, which is within the permitted limits.
Low concentrations were also observed for the PM2.5 pollutant, for which the recorded daily average value was 21.0 µg/m3.
This improvement in the condition has come as a result of the change in atmospheric conditions, specifically the appearance of favorable meteorological conditions for the dispersion of pollutant concentration, such as the absence of fog, wind speed of 0.5 m/s, the lowest air humidity of 81%, atmospheric pressure of 958.4 mb, temperature -11.3°C. This situation has influenced the dispersion of the concentration of pollutants that are emitted into the air.
