07.02.2017 - From the analysis of the results obtained from automatic air quality monitoring, it has been found that during the monitoring period November - December 2016 and January 2017 there were exceedances of the daily limit values for PM10.
The allowed daily limit value for the protection of human health is 50 µg/m³. Meanwhile, the number of allowed exceedance days for PM10 is 35 days.
During all these months, 46 days (cases) with exceedances above the allowed PM10 values were recorded. In November, 10 days; in December, 21 days; and in January, 15 days.
The maximum value recorded was 254.9 µg/m³, on 29.01.2017.
The assessment of PM 2.5 particle concentration in accordance with air quality standards is based on the annual value, which is 25µg/m3. During 2016, the annual average reached 27.81 µg/m3, which is above the allowed values. The concentrations of other gaseous pollutants such as SO2, CO, NO2, and O3 have not exceeded the permitted limit values, but nevertheless, compared to other months of the year, during November, December 2016, and January 2017, there was an increase in average values.
