21.02.2017 - Based on measurements carried out by the Hydrometeorological Institute of Kosovo and the analysis of results obtained from automatic air quality monitoring, exceedances of the daily limit values for PM10 have been recorded over the past two days.
During these days, the daily average value was recorded on 20.02.2017 and reached 51.1µg/m3, which is above the allowed limits (the allowed daily limit value for the protection of human health is 50µg/m3).
High concentrations have also been recorded for the pollutant PM2.5, which reached a daily average value of 46.4µg/m3.
This deterioration in conditions has occurred as a result of changes in atmospheric conditions, specifically the occurrence of unfavorable meteorological conditions for the dispersion of pollutant concentrations in the air.
