12.07.2017- The Kosovo Environmental Protection Agency has received confirmation that the American Federal Agency MCC – Millennium Challenge Corporation, within the framework of the "Threshold" program for Kosovo, has also included the environmental protection sector.
More specifically, within the component "Transparent and Accountable Governance," the project proposed by KEPA for "Environmental Data Collection" worth 3 million dollars has been included.
The project aims to support the Kosovo Environmental Protection Agency, specifically the Kosovo Hydrometeorological Institute, in improving the monitoring system for air and water, processing data, and providing this data in real-time through the online system.
The “Threshold” program will begin to be implemented in the autumn of this year and will continue for the next two years.
