06 December 2018 05.12.2018 - The Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, within the framework of the Environmental Program for Kosovo (KEP 2016), is implementing the third component 'Strengthening the management of transboundary natural areas.' The main goal of this component is to strengthen management, technical, and professional capacities, as well as to promote sustainable development in the National Parks. Besides other activities within this component, the drafting of four regulatory plans for two National Parks ('Sharri' and 'Bjeshkët e Nemuna') is also foreseen. In the National Park 'Sharri,' two third zones have been designated for the drafting of plans: Prevallë and Zaplluxh, which are being implemented by experts engaged by the KEP 2016 project. Based on the Law on Spatial Planning, the Regulatory Plan document for Zaplluxhe is in the public discussion phase.
As part of this process, the MMPH expects the engagement of all interested parties, especially experts, various associations, representatives of participating municipalities, and citizens, to help with comments and recommendations in completing the final document. The period for public discussion of the Detailed Regulatory Plan document for Zaplluxhe / Stuzhë will be from 05.12.2018– 25.12.2018.
