12.05.2019 - The Hydrology Sector of the Hydrometeorological Institute of Kosovo has forecasted that floods will occur due to heavy rainfall that will affect the country in the coming days.
According to the announcement from IHMK, floods are expected on 14.05.2019 and will affect the western, southern, and northern parts of Kosovo.
It is forecasted that the rain will start 72 hours after the announcement is issued, with an amount of >30 - 50 mm, and with a high probability of extreme rain, floods, and landslides in sensitive areas.
The most affected areas will be the western and southern parts of the country.
