12.02.2021- The meeting aimed to inform all project beneficiary parties about the project implementation plan, planned activities, work methodology, and other technical and informative aspects related to the project.
With this meeting, which was organized online, the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and the Kosovo Environmental Protection Agency have formally started a collaboration for the next three years.
Through close cooperation, the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency will strengthen the capacities of the Kosovo Environmental Protection Agency to implement environmental legislation in the water, climate, and air pollution sectors and to improve environmental communication and the environmental information system.
The cooperation will prepare Kosovo to make environmental data open and accessible to all parties in accordance with the EU acquis and will assist Kosovo in fulfilling its obligations in the EU integration process. The project will continue until the end of 2023 and will include a budget of 9 million SEK with financial support from the Swedish Embassy in Pristina.
